Find the exact due date
Record the inspection validity date, mileage at inspection, result, and inspection station name.
- For a typical passenger car in Poland, the cycle is often three years after first registration, then two years, then annually. Exceptions exist.
- Do not guess from the car's age when documents are available. Confirm the exact date in the documents and official records.
Useful reminders
Set at least two reminders: about 30 days before the deadline and a few days before expiry.
- An earlier reminder leaves time to repair issues before inspection.
- After a positive inspection, record the new validity date, mileage, and cost.
What to record afterwards
Add the result, next due date, mileage, cost, and any notes from the inspection technician.
- Attach a defect list or additional certificate if you received one.
- Connect an inspection following a repair with the relevant service record.
